To create the trellis, begin with four 10-foot posts vertically spaced out across the wall to be disguised. Anchor each post in a one-inch-deep hole with concrete. Attach 10-foot horizontal runners along the top, middle and base of the vertical posts to add structural support.

Once you are ready to plant the trellis, you can save money by purchasing plants in one-gallon containers. Or for instant satisfaction, buy five-gallon container plants like this morning glory (figure C) if your budget allows.
Plant the morning glory, and wrap its vine tendrils around the wires of the trellis (figure D).
