Do you ever feel like your hose is trying to cut corners? Host Rebecca Kolls has an easy finial hose guide project to keep your water hose on track and out of your plants.

Materials

drapery finial, from any home or discount store
copper tubing, 3/8 inch at the opening, cut to three-foot lengths
copper tubing, 1/2 inch at the opening, cut to a two-foot length
washers that are large enough to slide over the 3/8-inch pipe
a hammer or mallet

Begin by pounding the 3/8-inch copper tubing into the ground, and drop the washer around the tube. Next, place the 1/2-inch copper tube over the 3/8-inch tube and check that it swivels easily. Then attach the drapery finial to the top of the copper tubing.
