Use a small disposable diaper for the invitation. Write "It's a Potty!" on the outside of the diaper, and put the party information on the inside.

  • Use die-cut baby bottles as place cards — pink for female guests and blue for male guests.

Figure A

  • Write "Oh Baby" all over a plain cotton tablecloth with fabric paint (figure A), then spray it with hairspray so that paint will show up on the cloth. Sprinkle confetti over it for a nice finishing touch. Use a pacifier as a napkin ring (figure B). Once the party is over, mom- and dad-to-be can take these home.

  • Figure C

  • Make a diaper cake to use as a centerpiece (figure C). Roll up about 50 diapers and tie with ribbon. Arrange in three layers to resemble a layered wedding cake. Fill a baby bottle with candy as a cake topper. Tie with additional ribbon and attach small toys and accessories as desired.

    Obstacle Course Game

Get the men involved in the shower with an obstacle-course game.

Station 1: Give each man a bib to wear with their childhood name written on it. For instance, if a guest's name is Tom, write Tommy on the bib. Blindfold each man and make them diaper a doll baby with a cloth diaper and pins.

Station 2: Give each a bottle filled with apple juice to drink.

Station 3: Have each draw a picture of baby on a paper plate that you've placed on the top of his head. Whichever man finishes first wins a gift certificate to a local home-improvement store.
